Christmas Eve

On Christmas Eve we give the kids a gift from us parents as a way to help them feel OK about the whole naughty and nice list pressure cooker. Our kids should know that their names are etched in gold on every possible nice list in the world, but they still tend to get nervous. Today they received an at-home science experiment kit with 100 experiments. Toys R Us Chemistry Science Set, you were the best $35 I have ever spent in my life.

Merry Christmas to all who celebrate. May yours be filled with growing rock crystals in your kitchen, giant soap bubbles in the bathroom and happy children exclaiming their plans for being chemists when they grow up, too.

Ooooh looks neat!! I’ll have to remember this for next year. I had a hard time figuring out what to get Madeline this year. (Ended up going with a little mermaid costume since she is into dress-up right now.)
